Climate Change and steps

Don't believe that you have power over climate change?

Start with this:
Find a recipe that you like that doesn't contain. Meat or cheese. I found that that

Then, 1 day a week.
Eliminate one:
Commercially farmed meat.
Commercially farmed cheese.
The commercial part is key. If you get your a local farm that uses permaculture techniques, you may get a pass as the animal is key to the revitalization of the land.

Next, .

Gradually up the number of days as you find recipes that make your mouth go, oooh.

Oh and don't go directly to Substitutes. Meat, cheese, bacon... Ya. Stay away from these because they are not those items. "Tastes like Beef" no it doesn't. It doesn't taste bad BUT find new flavors.

Because new flavors that make you excited. Excited make you want more of that food.

But what's more radical then?

Walk, eliminating meat AND cheese. Buying bulk foods and using containers you bring to the store.

Really?

Yes. But there is always more: Reuse. Not buying over packaged anything. Bring a cup with you and don't use to go cups. No to single use plastics. Don't rely of recycling, it's better to never have any. Reuse.

A growler of beer is awesome.

That's a lot to remember.

Nope. Beer = awesome.

It gets easier as you start with the small steps. Remember. Don't hate yourself if you forget to or you ate something or, or, or. The walk has just begun. You can run later.

Thanks for reading this. Pass it along if you want.
