Dreams of Electric Houses (DoEH)
Originally on MySpace. August 3. So, I have officially started my Henson Seed Grant for "Dreams of Electric Houses" here on MySpace. It is my hope to bore any one that wishes to read my blog. Bore them to death by boring theater observations that no one really cares about but me, and by cares I mean 'lacks complete apathy'. I am currently doing doodles and playing with story order. Also thinking about what stories to include. Should I use a video projector or not (I do SO want to be like the hip kids and have a live camera on stage!!!) and the types of puppets to use (yes, puppet show with a 'live' actor (WHY NO ONE has EVER thought of THIS before.....!!!)) Just so you know, I'm not really leaning in any one direction, puppet-wise, at the moment. But no there will not be marionettes (string puppets). They are right out. I hate them.
