To the Republican Party
A friend of mine posted this. I thought it was worth a repost:
"My daughters won't be teachers. They have told me they saw how hard I worked, how little time I had for my family and how little money we had. I can't get that time back! It was a high price of personal life to pay. Teachers are treated like serfs in a feudal time. And though I know my students appreciated what I did as well as the parents, shouldn't teachers have a fair compensation as any other college educated person with a master degree which is required? Yes, I chose my profession, so let the younger generation be warned, It is a very difficult life to choose when there are so many other options."
Remember people: a under-edutate pop ulace is um stoopider and ezer to control.
